Right in my emotions
The portrayal of cults, brainwashing and abusive relationships elevates this above the rest of DC animated movies I think, except for Flashpoint Paradox, which was a different shade of dark.

The story and the character are simple, but it's all about the relationships, and it has plenty of powerful emotional moments, if you can tune in on to all that. There are some cheesy moments but they are all coming from who the characters are, so I think they actually add some depth in the end. What really makes the two Teen Titans movies really great compared to the usual Justice League ones, is that the writers can treat the teenagers like humans, instead of how the Justice League are treated as gods.

If you liked the prequel Teen Titans vs. Justice League, this is a must watch.
my review
I give this a rating of 3 because to me it just grossed me out, terra one of the teen titans was a bad guy in disguise and she was helping deadshot catch the teen titans, but she flirted with him, more than a teen or younger person should, and it sorta creeped me out, sorta had a sick feel to it, it just made me sick, this is not something like the other animated movies, to me just this part ruined the whole movie, if you watch it you will see what I am talking about...just sick!!! other than that it was a pretty good movie, but kids flirting with 50-60 year olds on movies like this is just sickening!!!!
A emotional roller coaster that will leave fans in tears
If your a fan of the Teen Titans in any format you will love this film. This movie takes everything from the Judas Contract and everything that made people love the Teen Titans and bring it all together in one of the funnest films that DC has ever put out. Giving us something that would truly make Marv Wolfman proud of. This series pulls farthest from the new 52 and gives us something a little bit more old school. We get the bonds between Tera and Beast Boy, the energetic romantic love of Starfire and Nightwing along with a little bit of Raven and Damian peppered through it.

It also redeems Deathstroke after his laughable appearance in Son of Batman giving us the Deathstroke fans have been wanting.

Its fun, its dark and it is a emotional journey as we connect with each of the Titans. Learning about what makes them all heroes and what makes them a team as well. The film is able to have a good balance with each of the Titans and make them seem more touching and lovable as well.

Overall Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is a must buy for all Teen Titans fans
Second time's the charm
So this isn't the first time DC's tried to adapt this story, the first was during the second season of "Teen Titans", and to say it failed would be an understatement. It had good build-up, but then went off the rails within 7 minutes of the finale. Thankfully, this remedies that, because now I can just watch this instead of whatever the Hell their first attempt was. Not being familiar with the story told in the comics, I'll be basing this off of DC's first attempt, and this is way better. They kept some things the same, like Logan falling in love with Terra, and her betrayal, but they gave her redemption as well. She was both this tragic hero, and a true hero, she was this scared girl who was manipulated, but also a Titan to the end. I never saw "Justice League vs Teen Titans", (that whole "hating Superman" thing) but I like where this series could be heading. I love Damian of course, and Logan and Dick are great, so I'm all for DC expanding this series if they decide to. Miguel Ferrer also does a great job in his final role. It's dark, funny, sweet, and it's got good action, not much more I could ask for.
A Great Take On The Teen Titans
Watched Teen Titans The Judas Contract amazing voice Performances from Sean Maher(Arrow) as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Kari Wahlgren(Wolverine And The XMen) as Koriand'r/Starfire also starring Brandon Soo Hoo(Tropic Thunder) as Garfield Logan Stuart Allan(Son Of Batman) as Damian Wayne/Robin , Jake T.Austin(The Fosters) as Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle, Susan Taissa Farmiga(Rules Don't Apply) as Raven ,Christina Ricci(Casper) as Tara Markov/Terra,Greg Henry(Super) as Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood and Miguel Ferrer(RoboCop) as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, While Im Not a huge Teen Titans fan but I enjoyed it also it was great to see some of the characters leak into here like Blue Beetle who is very underrated I thought it was fantastic also also the characters were written very well hopefully the Titans become part of The DCEU . Amazing score by Fredrik Wiedmann(Tremors 5:Bloodlines), Screenplay By Ernie Altbacker(Ben 10) Direction by Sam Liu(Superman/Batman:Public Enemies) A Great Take On The Teen Titans 7/10
A good rebirth (even with things still pretty bad) after a lot of crap!
Okay, I personally don't like the direction DC has been taking in recent years with most of its animations. This includes "Son of Batman," "Batman vs. Robin," "Bad Blood" and, of course, the predecessor of the film that I'll speak about later, "Justice League vs. Teen Titans."

The reason I do not like it is not relevant here, what matters is that "The Judas Contract" left me with hopes of a better future within that medium. The movie is not perfect, far from it, there are things that I really found awful, like the flashback quite "loose" and without connection with the rest of the story that we have in the beginning, or the whole story involving Terra, however, these things are less annoying than in previous ones, and good and more engaging things stand out. Even Damian Wayne is no longer the center of this universe of animated films that DC has been creating for the first time, and that makes an incredible difference, he almost becomes a cool character!

It's worth the addition to Kevin Smith's participation here, seriously, why the guy is so venerated in the nerdy way?

The construction of the Blue Beetle story is really cool, they can tell you more about the character in a subtle way that does not seem to be played (even though they have no connection to the main story line). The scenes with the Nightwing are very good, with a very cool specific action sequence.

In short, "The Judas Contract" is a film that still has problems, but it is by far a lot better than I mentioned above, and despite everything, still provides a cool pastime, being fun and very fast!
Not as good as I hope
DC's animation movies must be better.

1. Voice acting is terrible, actors just read their lines without passion or any involvement to the story, like nobody cares.

2. Animation is weird looking. Sometimes it's look like 60 fps, sometimes like 5 fps. Sometimes both, some object moves smooth and some are not and the same time. I watch Young Justice now, and it's animation is 10 times better.

3. Story. No twists, nobody die, you see everything happening miles away. Terra's betrayal story was way better in original Teen Titans TV-show.

4. Characters. Everybody are same. When Terra freaking out, everybody come with understanding and compassion; no inappropriate jokes from Beast Boy, no hardness from Damian, no indifference from Raven. Everybody Starfire now.

I love DC and it's nice to see favorite heroes again, but you can tell how small effort they put here. If you will watch random episode of Justice League TV show, Teen Titans or Young Justice and then look at Teen Titans: The Judas Contract or Justice League Dark, you will see how bad it become.
Best DC Animated movie yet!
Wow! is simply way to put this movie. Been following DC Animation since the early 90's and this is simply the best one yet. It had a coherent story, kept to pre-established story lines from previous DC Animated features while flawlessly adapting the source material. What is the best part about this movie is that it isn't afraid to take you down some dark and controversial themes. And there ARE a few of those where you will just sit there with your jaw open and feel as if you are watching a Japanese Anime Movie meant for mature viewers.
The DC live action universe has been disappointing, but that's NOT the case with the DC Animations! Wow....

LOVE this Universe and the stories to say are "Amazing" doesn't give it justice...

Zack Snider & WB: Hire the writers for the DC Animations for the live action movies & you're guarantee a cash flow! ANOTHER SURPERB job makers of the DC Animations! When's the next one!?!?!?
